How successful is the Instructional Program at The Landings? Over the last 10 years, more people have taken instruction here than at all other Kingston-area golf courses - COMBINED. The reason for the success and the reputation of excellence is simple - Dale Pedersen and Chris Barber.
Dale Pedersen has been recognized as one of the best teachers in Canada, as well as a fine player. In 1999, Dale won the Canadian Club Professional Championship which brings together the top club pros from across the country. And in 2007, he was named Ottawa PGA Teacher of the Year, a prestigious award presented by his peers in the industry.
Chris Barber, as well, has been recognized for his playing accomplishments. One of the finest amateurs in the area for years, Chris joined the PGA of Canada in 2003. Still competing at a high level, Chris has won numerous Ottawa PGA Championships, and is currently the 8th ranked player amongst fellow club professionals.
Both of these fine professionals are heavily involved in our clinic, camp, and private instructional programs, and have contributed to making The Landings the #1 instructional facility in Kingston. Allow them to pass along their knowledge of the game to you.
