2010 JUNIOR MEMBER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

During the past nine years we have committed ourselves to providing a quality Junior Golf Program - and eventually good things happen. During 2009 a long time Junior Member won the Kingston and City Men's Championship and also qualified and played in the Canadian Men's Amatuer Championship. And another current Junior Member finished his season by winning the St. Lawrence Junior Tour Order of Merit. Great accomplishments indeed!

That said, we will continue to strive to improve our Junior Program - one that relies heavily on education, instruction and participation.

In 2010 we will again include MEMBER ONLY CLINICS throughout the early part of the season, mix in some Junior Field Days, host a St. Lawrence Junior Tour Event, a Club Championship and will continue to push the district to develop Junior Intersectional Matches. Our program is designed to not only promote the accomplished or competitive member, but to also assist beginning or new golfers acquire golfing and social skills that will serve them well during their adult lives. One of the most satisfying parts of our development program is to see older, skilled players take a hand in mentoring and playing with the new group.

Member only clinics currently scheduled for 2010 include:
Sunday, May 2nd, Sunday, May 9th, Sunday, May 16th, Sunday, May 23rd, Sunday, June 6th, Sunday, June 13th, Sunday, June 27th
All clinics are at 1:30pm and are hosted by CPGA Professionals : Dale Pedersen, Michael Pollard and Ben Shannon.

Junior Club Championship - Sat/Sun, July 24/25
